ASUS has launched the ROG G1000, also called the Gunslinger 10X, in China. The desktop was unveiled at ROG DAY 2026 in Guangzhou. It is the first ROG desktop to feature holographic light-up fans, branded as AniMe Holo.
Holographic fans debut on ROG desktop
The system is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 processor. It includes an ASUS PRIME X870-P WIFI motherboard and a ROG ASTRAL RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB of memory. The desktop comes with 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4TB SSD. Cooling is handled by a 420mm AIO liquid cooler. Three AniMe Holo fans are installed, two at the front and one on the left side.
The ROG G1000 is priced at 69999 CNY, which is about $10,285. It is available in China starting May 15, 2026.
The desktop targets high-end gaming and performance enthusiasts. It uses AMD's latest 3D V-Cache technology in the processor, which was previously limited to gaming chips but is now appearing in more desktop systems.
