Heroes of the Storm May 2026 Patch Brings Haunted Mines Back With Skull Scaling Boost

Blizzard released a balance patch for Heroes of the Storm on May 11, 2026. The update includes map updates, hero balancing, and bug fixes.

Haunted Mines returns with increased skull scaling.

The Haunted Mines map, which was removed from rotation in 2018 and recently brought back, now has skull scaling increased from 5% to 7%. Arthas received further adjustments after a major rework in April. Chen, Deathwing, Gazlowe, Mal'Ganis, and Murky also received changes.

Community reaction is cautiously optimistic. No official relaunch has been announced.

Blizzard has not confirmed the launch window for any further updates.
