EA and DICE have launched the first phase of Battlefield 6 Season 3. The update, titled Warlords: Overmatch, is now live for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This release introduces significant content additions to the game's roster.
EA launches Warlords Overmatch phase with classic map returns
The update brings back two classic maps from previous entries in the franchise. Golmud Railway returns as a reinterpretation of the Battlefield 4 classic. Grand Bazaar also makes a comeback as a remake of the Battlefield 3 map.
Official ranked play is launching for Battle Royale Quads in the Redsec region. The competitive system features ranks ranging from Rookie to Master. The top 250 players worldwide will receive an exclusive emblem upon completion.
Phase 2 of the season arrives on June 9 under the name Shockwave. This phase will introduce the Obliteration mode in both 32v32 and 8v8 Tactical variants. Phase 3, High-Value Target, concludes the rollout on June 30 with casual battle royale and a collection event.
