NVIDIA has released Open GPU Kernel Modules version 595.44.06 as a pre-release for the Vulkan Developer Beta. The update is available starting May 1, 2026.
New Vulkan extension and fixes included
The new driver adds support for the VK_KHR_maintenance11 extension. It also includes fixes for VK_EXT_device_address_binding_report, shader performance improvements, and compute timestamp fixes.

NVIDIA states that the open kernel modules must be used with matching GSP firmware and user-space components. This beta is intended for developers, not general users.
The release is part of NVIDIA's ongoing effort to improve Vulkan support on Linux. The company has not confirmed a timeline for a stable release.
