does the dual mode switch actually work seamlessly or is there a lag when toggling between 4k and 1080p during a match
the switch is hardware level on the scaler chip so it should be instant. you just lose the 4k signal path when you drop to 1080p. no frame generation involved here just pure panel rescaling.
2304 zones for two thousand nits is solid but i want to see the blooming control in dark scenes. spec sheets lie about local dimming performance often.
i am just happy the price dropped below five hundred dollars for this many backlight zones. my old 27 inch panel cost twice that a few years ago.
great specs but the 11.11 sale is only on jd.com in china. i guess i have to wait for the global release to see if we get the same deal here or if shipping kills the savings
is the smart tv system linux based or android tv? i need to know if i can sideload apps without bricking the display firmware
hisense usually runs a fork of android tv on their smart monitors. you can sideload apk files via adb if you enable developer mode. just be careful not to update the firmware while sideloading.
finally a monitor that has a dedicated power brick instead of that giant box. the desk space saving is real 🤔
