Microsoft's 12 Years of the Windows Insider Program Comes With a Digital Salutation. The Anniversary update for Windows Insider program is a gift of free desktop backgrounds for users. The significance lies in offering updated visual elements for the long-time testers of Windows.
Microsoft releases special wallpapers to celebrate 12 years of Windows testing
For more than a decade, Microsoft has relied on the Windows Insider program as the main source of feedback. In this program, users get to try out the pre-release builds of Windows before it becomes available to the public. In the spirit of celebrating the anniversary, the focus is more on software assets rather than code or features.
The main offering is a set of special new wallpapers for users of Windows. These wallpapers were made available by Microsoft as a part of the celebration. These aren't new components in the operating system or performance fixes.
The focus here is on the community aspect of the insider program. The new wallpapers are a way to give the users a token of appreciation for their feedback. This update confirms the continuation of the program, without adding any new technical changes.
