ASRock has expanded its DeskSlim compact desktop lineup with two new workstation configurations that integrate RTX Pro GPUs directly into small form factor chassis. This move matters because it allows professionals to deploy high-performance AI and rendering hardware in spaces where standard tower PCs do not fit. These systems target users who need significant compute power without the footprint of a traditional desktop case.

ASRock DeskSlim X600 and B760 models now available globally with workstation GPUs

The DeskSlim X600 model runs on the AM5 platform and supports 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors with a 120W thermal limit. We also see the DeskSlim B760, which utilizes the LGA 1700 socket to accommodate 12th, 13th, and 14th-generation Core processors rated up to 125W. Both chassis share a common internal architecture designed to house specific NVIDIA workstation graphics cards.

Spec comparison

Spec DeskSlim X600 DeskSlim B760
CPU Platform AMD AM5 (Ryzen 7000/8000/9000) Intel LGA 1700 (12th-14th Gen)
GPU Option 1 NVIDIA RTX Pro 4000 SFF (24 GB GDDR7) NVIDIA RTX Pro 2000 (16 GB GDDR7)
Max RAM 256 GB DDR5 256 GB DDR5
Storage 2x M.2 NVMe, 2x SATA 2x M.2 NVMe, 2x SATA

Users can choose between the NVIDIA RTX Pro 4000 SFF or the RTX Pro 2000 for their graphics needs. The RTX Pro 4000 SFF provides 24 GB of GDDR7 ECC memory and delivers 40 TFLOPS of FP32 performance while drawing just 140W. The RTX Pro 2000 offers 16 GB of GDDR7 ECC memory and 17 TFLOPS of FP32 performance at a lower 70W power draw. Each system includes four UDIMM DDR5 slots for up to 256 GB of RAM and storage options comprising two M.2 NVMe ports plus two SATA ports.

ASRock claims the RTX Pro 4000 configuration delivers 1,290 AI TOPS of AI power, while the RTX Pro 2000 setup provides 545 AI TOPS. Both configurations are now available through the company's global distribution network. The manufacturer has not yet announced pricing details for these specific GPU-enabled builds.

These releases add workstation-grade graphics capabilities to the DeskSlim series, which previously focused on general compact desktop use. The availability of ECC memory in the GPU options supports professional workloads requiring data integrity. Buyers seeking high-end AI inference or rendering in a mini PC format now have concrete hardware options to evaluate.
