PUBG Mobile Version 4.4 Hero's Crown Arrives May 12 With Greek Mythology Theme

PUBG Corporation has released Version 4.4 of PUBG Mobile, titled Hero's Crown. The global update launches on May 12 for iOS and Android devices. This major patch introduces a Greek and Roman mythology theme that overhauls the Erangel map with new architecture and sightlines.

New floating hotspot Nimbus Island introduces Centaur boss

The update adds a new floating hotspot called Nimbus Island, which features a Centaur boss encounter as its centerpiece. Players can access two new active abilities: Heart of Fury and Spartan Flag. A new vehicle named the Chariot joins the roster, offering a top speed of 85 km/h and the ability to briefly become airborne.

Weapon balance changes include the addition of the M1 Garand sniper rifle. The update disables sniper damage reduction over distance while reducing assault rifle damage over distance. Progression through the Divine Trials system uses Glory Medals to unlock seasonal rewards.

A crossover with the Blue Lock anime begins on May 22, featuring character skins and a 500 UC Prize Path. Ranked Season 30 starts on May 13, followed by collaborations with Ford and Harley-Davidson.

PUBG Corporation has not confirmed the specific launch window for the Blue Lock collaboration content beyond the stated date.
