Developer Yui recovered the original game data using a server farm equipped with 90 GPUs. The preserved files form the foundation for the new compatibility tools. Developer Wakkatobakka then built an Android compatibility bridge to run these files. The project is known as Dirge Bridge and is currently at version 0.2.4.
The Android bridge provides the necessary environment for graphics, audio, and modern controls. Users can run the preserved game data on modern Android devices through this tool. The game is also playable on PC via the DoJa 5.1 SDK emulator setup. These methods bypass the original mobile hardware limitations that prevented play.
Users must source the game data separately to use the compatibility bridges. The tools do not include the game files themselves. Wakkatobakka stated the bridge takes the preserved data and provides the needed environment. This separation means players need to locate the original game assets independently.
