Arm has updated its financial outlook for the AGI CPU, doubling its revenue forecast for fiscal year 2028. The company now expects over $2 billion in revenue from the chip, an increase from its previous estimate of around $1 billion. This revision reflects strong customer demand that exceeds $2 billion across fiscal years 2027 and 2028.
Major AI firms integrate processors with accelerators
The AGI CPU utilizes the Arm architecture rather than traditional x86 designs. Major artificial intelligence firms including OpenAI, Cerebras, Positron, and Rebellions are integrating the processors with accelerators. European AI cloud provider Vera will also deploy the chips for agentic AI orchestration.

Commercial systems based on the Arm AGI CPU are now available to order globally. Customers can purchase these systems from OEMs ASRock, Lenovo, Quanta, and Supermicro. Arm stated that this launch expands its compute platform into production silicon while maintaining a common architecture and software ecosystem.
Arm's market share of CPU compute among the top hyperscalers has reached 50 percent. This group includes major providers such as Amazon, Google, and NVIDIA. Total Arm CPU shipments are projected to amount to 350 billion chips by 2026.

Arm announced these updates in May 2026. The company has not confirmed specific launch windows for individual OEM products beyond the current availability status.
