The leaker known as Cyberleek has exited their position in the $CYBERLEEK memecoin, securing approximately $250,000 in proceeds just hours before Rockstar Games officially revealed Grand Theft Auto VI. This timing suggests a coordinated cash-out that coincides with the peak attention surrounding the game's premiere on Netflix. Buyers of the Solana-based token should note that the liquidity has vanished as the creator moved funds to new wallets.
Leaker exits Solana token hours before official game reveal
Cyberleek accumulated 15.4 million tokens through creator fees and sold wrapped SOL to generate the exit liquidity. The leaker burned 270 million reserve tokens during the campaign to maintain market trust and prevent early price collapse. This strategy allowed the token to remain liquid while the leaker prepared for the final payout.
Take-Two Interactive responded to the leak by filing DMCA subpoenas against Microsoft, Discord, and X to identify the source of the breach. The company aimed to trace the funds and identify the individual behind the Cyberleek alias. At least 91 SOL from the cash-out was deposited into a KuCoin account, complicating legal recovery efforts.
KuCoin verified the user through Know Your Customer protocols, but its Seychelles headquarters blocks US civil subpoenas from being served. Tom's Hardware noted that no mechanism exists to force the exchange to comply with such legal demands. This jurisdictional shield effectively protects the funds from immediate seizure by US authorities.
GTAForums user _ViceCit_ interpreted the scheme as intentionally planned to maximize profit, though this remains an unverified claim. Cyberleek claimed to hold a full working build of the game, but independent sources have not confirmed this assertion. The event marks the end of the leak campaign with a significant financial gain for the leaker.
