Machenike has opened pre-orders for the Aurora S, a compact desktop PC that brings NVIDIA's latest Blackwell architecture to a small form factor. This launch matters because it offers a pathway to next-generation AI features like DLSS 4.5 in a system that fits on a standard desk without requiring a massive tower. Buyers looking for modern ray tracing and upscaling capabilities in a prebuilt system now have a specific option to consider.

Compact desktop ships with Intel Core 7 and RTX 5060 graphics
The Aurora S centers on an Intel Core 7 230H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. The CPU provides 10 cores and 16 threads with boost speeds up to 5.2GHz. The GPU is built on the Blackwell architecture and includes 8GB of GDDR7 memory. This combination targets users who want high-performance gaming and content creation in a chassis significantly smaller than traditional gaming rigs.
Specifications
- CPU: Intel Core 7 230H (10 cores, 16 threads, up to 5.2GHz)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7
- Memory: 16GB LPDDR5
- Storage: 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD
- Cooling: Dual-tower air cooler, 3 heat pipes, 90mm fan (3400rpm max)
Inside the 17-liter case, the system includes 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Machenike uses a dual-tower air cooling solution with three heat pipes and a 90mm fan that spins up to 3400rpm. The system relies on a 500W 3C certified power supply to run these components. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
Machenike claims the RTX 5060 delivers 614 TOPS of AI computing power and supports DLSS 4.5 technology. The Wi-Fi 6E connection offers a theoretical maximum transfer rate of 2.4Gbps. We looked at NVIDIA Releases GeForce Game Ready Driver earlier while tracking Machenike launches. The system is available in China with a base price of 6999 CNY (around $1,036) and a subsidized price of 5949.15 CNY (around $880).
Pre-orders for the Aurora S began on August 19, 2024. The system is currently limited to the Chinese market. This release marks Machenike's entry into the compact desktop segment with Blackwell-based graphics.
