ASUS has expanded its VivoBook 16 lineup with a new configuration option for the Core Ultra edition. The new configuration offers an entry-level option for users seeking the Intel Core Ultra 5 235 processor alongside 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD.

New laptop configuration offers entry-level specs in China

The updated model features an Intel Core Ultra 5 235 processor that includes 14 cores and 14 threads. It pairs this chip with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The model provides a lower-cost alternative to the previously available version equipped with a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

ASUS lists the new VivoBook 16 variant at a price of 5999 CNY in China. This pricing is approximately $886 based on current exchange rates. The device became available for purchase starting June 15, 2024.
