LG UltraGear AI Series OLED Monitors Announced for Japan

LG Electronics Japan announced three new OLED gaming monitors under the UltraGear AI Series. The launch targets the Japanese market with models that integrate webOS and dedicated AI processing into the display hardware.

Three curved UWQHD panels integrate webOS and micro lens array technology

The lineup includes a 45-inch curved UWQHD model (45GX90SB-B), a 39-inch curved UWQHD variant (39GX90SB-W), and a 34-inch curved UWQHD option (34GX90SB-W). Each panel uses micro lens array technology to reach peak brightness of 1300 nits.

All three monitors run at a 240Hz refresh rate with a 0.03ms response time. The panels cover 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for accurate video and gaming content.

The UltraGear AI Series integrates webOS directly into the monitor firmware, allowing users to access apps without relying on a connected PC or console. The integrated webOS platform streamlines media playback while minimizing external hardware dependencies.
