ASUS ROG launched the ROG Strix SCAR 10 Super Competition Edition laptop on JD.com in China. The system pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU to target high-end gaming performance.

The device features a 16-inch Mini LED Nebula Original Picture Screen 2.0 display that runs at a 2.5K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. The panel covers 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space for accurate color reproduction in games and creative work.

ASUS equipped the laptop with 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 6400MHz in dual-channel configuration. Storage comes from a 1TB PCIe 5.0 SSD that supports high-speed data transfers. The system includes a 90Wh battery to support mobile usage between charges.
The ROG Strix SCAR 10 uses the Glacier Cooling Architecture 4.0 with a triple-fan inner blow design and an end-to-end vapor chamber. ASUS integrated second-generation liquid metal thermal compound on the CPU for improved heat dissipation. The laptop achieves a maximum total core power of 300W to sustain heavy workloads.
Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 5 ports, HDMI 2.1, USB-A 10Gbps ports, an RJ45 Ethernet jack, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack on the left side. The right side provides one additional USB-A 10Gbps port for peripheral connections.
The launch price is 31999 CNY with regular pricing set at 32999 CNY. Regional subsidies bring the effective cost down to approximately 30334 CNY for buyers in China.
