A developer has gotten Half-Life running at 30 FPS on a Nokia N95 from 2007. The port proves that a phone from that era can nearly match the performance of a 1998 PC.

Developer Dante Leoncini achieved the milestone on the Nokia N95. The phone runs Symbian OS 9.2 with S60 3rd Edition.

The N95 uses a Texas Instruments OMAP 2420 dual-core CPU clocked at 332 MHz, a PowerVR MBX 3D accelerator, and 64 MB of RAM (128 MB on the 8GB variant). Its display is 240×320. Half-Life originally required a 133 MHz Pentium and 24 MB of RAM.
Leoncini added mouse and keyboard support. Some slowdowns remain, but he has identified the cause and is working on a fix.
Leoncini stated on X.com that Half-Life 1 on the Nokia N95 finally reached 30 FPS. He confirmed the remaining slowdowns and the ongoing fix. It is not confirmed which N95 variant he used or whether the port uses the Xash3D engine.
