Infinix introduces GT NX controller with industry-first pixel-level FPS touchpad

Infinix has introduced the GT NX Series, a new ecosystem of gaming peripherals designed to bridge the gap between mobile and console gaming. This launch matters because it offers mobile gamers a dedicated hardware solution for precision aiming and thermal management, features typically restricted to PC or console setups. New docking station adds active cooling and extensive connectivity

The GT NX Controller is the primary input device, featuring a pixel-level FPS precision touchpad that Infinix claims is an industry first for mobile controllers. It utilizes a low-latency architecture to enable millisecond-level direct connections, which is critical for competitive e-sports play. The controller also includes a 22-hour battery and three levels of haptic intensity to provide tactile feedback during gameplay.

Handling the heat generated by intensive gaming is the GT NX Station, a 9-in-1 expansion dock equipped with a TEC active cooling system. This system prevents thermal throttling by maintaining consistent performance during high-load gameplay. The dock provides extensive connectivity, including HDMI output for external displays, RJ45 Ethernet, two USB-A ports, and USB-C PD input, allowing users to mirror or extend their screen while playing.

Compatibility for the GT NX Series depends on specific software and hardware requirements. The controller and station work with select Infinix devices running XOS 16.3 or later. They also support USB-C Android and iOS devices that include DisplayPort output, provided an external display with HDMI input is available for the station.
