WIKO added a new laptop variant to its lineup that targets budget-conscious buyers who need more memory than the standard model offers. The Hi MateBook D 16 now ships with 24GB of RAM, which gives users more headroom for multitasking without paying for a premium-tier machine. The release offers a more accessible entry point to 24GB RAM configurations for students and office workers.

The new model features an AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 processor with eight cores and sixteen threads. WIKO markets the device as a practical daily driver with an AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 processor. The laptop runs on the AMD Ryzen 200 series platform and targets the mainstream consumer segment in China.

The device includes a 16-inch IPS LCD display with a 1920×1200 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen provides 300 nits of brightness for general indoor use. WIKO paired the display with a 70Wh battery and a 65W charger for standard portability needs.
Storage consists of a 512GB SSD to hold operating system files and applications. The laptop offers one USB-C port, two USB-A ports, one HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Users can choose between Moonlight Silver and Polar Night Gray color options when purchasing the device.
WIKO priced the new configuration at 6199 CNY (around $916). The laptop became available for purchase on JD.com starting on August 5, 2024. We looked at Mechrevo Jiaolong 15K Adds RTX 3050 earlier while tracking Wiko launches.
