Budget gaming mice offer 8KHz polling and long battery life

The VK M5 EVO and VK M5 SUPER share an identical physical chassis that measures 125 x 68 x 42 mm and weighs approximately 58 grams. Both models utilize the PAW3950 VK AMG optical sensor and support a dual 8KHz polling rate for ultra-responsive tracking. They also include a 600mAh internal battery that Valkyrie claims provides up to 420 hours of continuous use.

Specifications

  • Sensor: PAW3950 VK AMG
  • Polling Rate: 8KHz
  • Weight: 58 g
  • Dimensions: 125 * 68 * 42 mm
  • Battery Capacity: 600mAh

The primary difference between the two models lies in their internal controller chips. The VK M5 SUPER features the Nordic 54L controller, which handles the high-frequency polling data. Valkyrie has not disclosed the specific controller model used in the VK M5 EVO variant.

Both mice use TTC Blue Point Optical switches for actuation. Valkyrie lists the launch price for both the EVO and SUPER models at 199.75 CNY (around $29.66), which translates to around $29.66. Sales for both variants begin on September 2, 2024, exclusively through JD.com in China.
