Thermaltake Tt Mod ARGB Cables Launch July 10 for $43

PC builders who have spent months hiding ugly power cables behind their motherboard tray can finally show them off. Thermaltake is releasing four new Tt Mod ARGB power cables on July 10, offering addressable RGB lighting for both 24-pin and 8-pin ATX connectors. This release solves the common frustration of having a perfectly themed RGB build ruined by a single black, non-lit power cable running across the front panel. These options let your PSU wiring light up in sync with your GPU and fans.

Addressable RGB power cables for 24-pin and 8-pin connectors arrive in Japan

The new lineup includes two main models designed for different power connectors. The Tt Mod 24 pin ARGB Cable (AC-081-CN1NAN-A1) replaces the main ATX 24-pin connector. The Tt Mod 8 pin ARGB Cable (AC-082-CN1NAN-A1) replaces the ATX 12V 8-pin connector. Thermaltake also offers Snow versions of both cables for white-themed builds.

Specifications

  • Model: Tt Mod 24 pin ARGB Cable (AC-081-CN1NAN-A1)
  • Model: Tt Mod 24 pin ARGB Snow Cable (AC-081-CN6NAN-A1)
  • Model: Tt Mod 8 pin ARGB Cable (AC-082-CN1NAN-A1)
  • Model: Tt Mod 8 pin ARGB Snow Cable (AC-082-CN6NAN-A1)
  • Connector Type: ATX 24-pin / ATX 12V 8-pin

Each cable features built-in addressable RGB LEDs that connect directly to your motherboard. The LED technology uses the standard 5V ARGB protocol for synchronization. You can control the lighting effects through your motherboard's RGB software suite. The cables come in two color options: Black and White (Snow).

Thermaltake distributes these products in Japan through Ask Corp. The company has set the price at 6,980 JPY (around $42.94) for each cable. This translates to around $42.94 per unit. The cables will be available in stores starting July 10, 2026.

We looked at similar RGB cable solutions earlier while tracking Thermaltake's accessory releases. These new Tt Mod cables expand the company's lineup with specific support for both primary power connectors. The release marks a practical step for builders who want cohesive lighting across their entire system.
