Seagate announced the One Touch, FireCuda X Vault, and LaCie 8big Pro5 on April 23, 2024. The One Touch external drive offers 8TB, 20TB, and 24TB capacities. It supports USB-C connectivity and works with Windows and Mac systems. The FireCuda X Vault provides 8TB and 20TB versions with customizable RGB lighting and Windows Dynamic Lighting support. Windows Dynamic Lighting Both drives use a single USB-C cable for data and power.

The LaCie 8big Pro5 features an 8-bay design and Thunderbolt 5 interface. It supports hardware RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, and JBOD configurations. The device delivers 140W of power delivery output. Seagate and LaCie state the drive targets multi-channel 4K and 8K video processing, large RAW image libraries, and AI-assisted production workflows.

The 8TB One Touch version carries a suggested retail price of 2499 CNY (about $365) in China. The LaCie 8big Pro5 pricing scales with capacity. The 32TB model costs 66168 CNY (about $9,670). The 64TB version is priced at 79168 CNY (about $11,570). The 128TB configuration costs 99868 CNY (about $14,590).

The 192TB LaCie 8big Pro5 costs 123168 CNY (about $18,000). The 256TB model carries a price of 158168 CNY (about $23,110).
