Seagate announced the One Touch, FireCuda X Vault, and LaCie 8big Pro5 on April 23, 2024. The One Touch external drive offers 8TB, 20TB, and 24TB capacities. Seagate and LaCie state the drive targets multi-channel 4K and 8K video processing, large RAW image libraries, and AI-assisted production workflows.
The 8TB One Touch version carries a suggested retail price of 2499 CNY (about $365) in China. The LaCie 8big Pro5 pricing scales with capacity. The 32TB model costs 66168 CNY (about $9,670). The 64TB version is priced at 79168 CNY (about $11,570). The 128TB configuration costs 99868 CNY (about $14,590).

The 192TB LaCie 8big Pro5 costs 123168 CNY (about $18,000). The 256TB model carries a price of 158168 CNY (about $23,110).
