reMarkable has announced the Paper Pure, a new e-ink tablet that succeeds the reMarkable 2. The device is designed for writing and reading, with a focus on a paper-like experience.
The Paper Pure features a 10.3-inch E Ink Carta 1300 display with a resolution of 1872 × 1404. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The tablet is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Cortex-A55 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It runs a custom Linux-based operating system called reMarkable OS. The writing latency is 21 milliseconds, and the pen-to-ink distance is 0.84mm.

The base model of the Paper Pure is priced at $399 USD (about $399) in the US, €399 EUR (about $467) in Europe, and £359 GBP (about $487) in the UK. A bundle that includes the Marker Plus stylus costs $449 USD (about $449) in the US, €469 EUR (about $549) in Europe, and £399 GBP (about $541) in the UK. Orders can be placed now, and shipping is scheduled to begin in June 2026.
The Paper Pure has a replaceable 3,820mAh battery. reMarkable claims the battery can last up to three weeks on a single charge with one hour of use per day. The company also says the 32GB of storage is comparable to 405 notebooks. The tablet uses screws and snaps instead of glue, making it easier to repair. It contains 38% recycled materials.

reMarkable has not confirmed the launch window beyond the June 2026 shipping date.
