MINISFORUM Unveils M2 Mini PC with Intel Core Ultra 7 356H and DDR5 Support

MINISFORUM showcased the M2 mini PC at a joint event with in Xiamen. The M2 is part of the Elite Mini family and uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor. It can run local AI models like Qwen-35B-A3B and GPT-OSS 20B.

Local AI inference support sets it apart

The M2 supports up to 128GB DDR5 memory via two SO-DIMM slots. It has two M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots for storage. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, dual 2.5GbE LAN, a USB-C port at 40Gbps, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayPort 1.4. The front I/O offers two USB-A 10Gbps ports, one USB-C 40Gbps port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The rear I/O includes one USB-A 10Gbps, one USB-A 480Mbps, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, DisplayPort 1.4, and two 2.5GbE RJ45 ports.
