MAXSUN has introduced two new micro ATX motherboards based on the B850 chipset. The company launched the MS-iCraft B850M WIFI and the MS-iCraft B850M GKD5 WIFI on May 11, 2024. These boards target different segments of the PC building market with distinct memory and power delivery configurations.

Both models share a common foundation that includes three M.2 slots, two of which support PCIe Gen5 speeds. They feature 5GbE LAN connectivity, Wi-Fi 6E wireless networking, and a 10Gbps USB-C port on the rear I/O panel. A 20Gbps USB-C port is available for front panel connections. The boards utilize a Skylight RGB alloy heatsink and include a button-style quick-release mechanism for GPU installation.

The standard MS-iCraft B850M WIFI targets general users with a four-DIMM layout supporting DDR5-8000 memory. It uses a 10+2+1 phase power delivery system built around 60A SPS DrMOS components. The overclocking-focused MS-iCraft B850M GKD5 WIFI reduces the DIMM count to two to support DDR5-8800 speeds. This variant upgrades the power delivery to a 110A DrMOS configuration for higher stability under load.

The iCraft series branding indicates a focus on gaming aesthetics and performance. The inclusion of RGB lighting and quick-release hardware aligns with design trends in the gaming motherboard segment. The B850 chipset provides a modern platform for AMD processors, balancing feature density with cost efficiency for micro ATX form factors.
