Lenovo has released the AMD-powered ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 in Australia, Canada, and the US. The laptop introduces a regional split for its processor lineup, offering different CPU options depending on where you buy it.

Business laptop arrives globally with regional processor splits and up to 64GB RAM

The device features a 16-inch IPS display with a 1200p resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, and 500-nit brightness. It supports up to 64 GB of RAM and storage configurations reaching 2 TB. A 4G cellular modem is available as an optional configuration.

Power comes from either a 60 Wh or 75 Wh battery pack. Pricing starts at $1,639 USD in the US, CAD 2,279 in Canada, and AUD 2,359 in Australia. Fully configured Australian models can reach up to AUD 6,259.

The ThinkPad T16 Gen 5 is designed as a business laptop featuring standard specifications suitable for everyday workloads. Lenovo offers different AMD Ryzen processors in various regions to match specific market requirements.
