Kurodashi, a brand operated by Genjin Shikou in partnership with CFD, is releasing the GBE10R-PCIE 10GbE expansion card on May 29. The card targets users who need faster network speeds without sacrificing PCIe slot space or case clearance.
New network card supports slim PCs with low profile bracket and Wake on LAN functionality.
The GBE10R-PCIE plugs into a standard PCI Express x1 slot and uses the Realtek RTL8127AT controller chip to handle data traffic across multiple Ethernet standards.
Spec comparison
- Controller: Realtek RTL8127AT
- Interface: PCI Express x1
- Network Standards: 10GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, 1000BASE-T, 100BASE-TX
- OS Support: Windows 11/10
- Dimensions (excluding bracket): 51×72×18mm
It supports 10GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, 2.5GBASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 100BASE-TX connections, giving users flexibility when connecting to older routers or newer switches.
The card includes Wake On LAN functionality for remote PC activation and comes with a low-profile bracket designed for slim desktop cases and small form factor builds.
Its physical dimensions measure 51 by 72 by 18 millimeters without the bracket, making it compact enough to fit inside tight chassis layouts where larger cards would not clear surrounding components.
Windows 11 and Windows 10 are the supported operating systems for driver installation and full feature access on this hardware platform.
CFD lists the GBE10R-PCIE at 1563 JPY through Amazon Japan, which translates to approximately $9.84 USD based on current exchange rates.
The expansion card goes on sale in Japan on May 29 via Amazon's online store, with no international distribution channels announced for this specific SKU.
