Keychron announced the Q16 HE keyboard on April 25, 2024. This model features a 65% layout and uses a single-mode wired connection. The device supports hot-swappable switches and includes north-facing RGB lighting. It utilizes Keychron Lime Magnetic Switches with a rapid trigger precision of 0.005mm.

The keyboard uses ceramic materials for both the keycaps and the outer shell. The switches feature a PC upper housing, a POM stem, and a PA66 bottom housing. Total travel distance measures 3.5±0.1 mm with an actuation force of 55±5gf. The switches offer a lifespan of 100 million keystrokes. Internal dampening includes latex foam and a bottom pad.

The Q16 HE is available in China starting April 25, 2024. The standard price is 1475 CNY (about $215). Users can lower the cost to 1442.22 CNY (about $211) by combining payments with Taobao coins.
