Jianlv announced the RS2 4.0 Ultra keyboard on April 22. The company positions this model as a sister product to the SKN Qinglong 4.0 Ultra.
The keyboard features a 96 percent layout with 99 keys and one control knob. It uses Huannuo Yunyan switches with a 1.2mm short actuation travel. The switches offer a 42gf actuation force and a 52gf bottom-out force. The internal design includes a POM stem and a 23.5mm spring. The total travel distance measures 3.1 plus or minus 0.3 mm. The switches support a contact life of 50 million cycles.
The device supports an 8kHz polling rate under both wired USB and wireless 2.4GHz connections. It includes a built-in 8000mAh battery that provides up to 1808 hours of battery life. The keyboard runs on ZMK low-power firmware. It uses a Gasket Pro mounting structure with a hot-swappable PCB. The plate material is FR4 and the housing consists of nylon upper and lower parts. The keyboard comes with OEM height PBT double-shot keycaps and a two-stage kickstand. It also features a four-layer sound-dampening fill.
