Intel has launched the Ethernet E835 network interface card, a new component designed specifically for its Xeon 6+ (Xeon 6900E+) server processors. The release targets modern data center workloads that demand high throughput and energy efficiency. This update provides infrastructure operators with a dedicated networking solution optimized for the latest generation of CPUs.

New network interface card supports PCIe 5.0 and delivers up to 90% better power efficiency than competitors.

The E835 operates as a PCIe 5.0 x8 device in an OCP 3.0 form factor, allowing it to integrate directly into server blade architectures. It supports configurable port speeds including 2x25G, 4x25G, 2x100G, and a single 1x200G configuration. The configurable port speeds allow data centers to adjust network capacity for different workloads without swapping out hardware.

The card delivers up to 200GbE throughput while utilizing RDMA and DDP technologies to reduce CPU overhead. It features hardware-level security with Root of Trust, Signed SPDM, Attestation, RSA3K/SHA2-384 encryption, and FIPS 140-3 Level 1 certification. The device also operates in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 105°C, ensuring reliability in demanding environments.

Intel claims the E835 has a typical load power consumption of 11.68W. This figure represents approximately 90% more energy efficiency than 's similar solution at 22.15W and 40% better performance per watt compared to Broadcom's offering at 16.19W. The product includes a 10-year lifecycle support guarantee for long-term deployment stability.

Intel has released the Ethernet E835 network interface card to support its expanding range of server solutions. The card pairs with Intel's Xeon 6+ processors to deliver high-speed networking capabilities for both artificial intelligence and standard server applications.
