ID-COOLING SE-206-XT SLK air cooler uses slim front fan to clear tall RAM in small cases

ID- COOLING launches the SE- 206- XT SLK dual- tower air cooler, featuring a slim 15mm front fan to clear tall RAM and a standard rear fan for high airflow.

ID-COOLING has put out the SE-206-XT SLK, which is a dual tower air cooler that solves one of the bottlenecks often found with building a small PC. This type of design enables users to put a powerful cooler into use for cases that might be short on RAM height clearance or short side panels. The setup works using a thin front fan and a normal rear fan, both to get maximum airflow without going over the height limits often seen.

Dual-tower design pairs slim front fan with standard rear fan for high airflow in compact builds

The cooler has a slim form factor. It's 123x110x156 mm and it weighs 870g. ID-COOLING angled their heatpipes so they're able to fit high RAM, which is the type that can block traditional coolers. This setup is meant for people looking to get great cooling inside a limited case.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 123x110x156 mm
  • Weight: 870g
  • Heatpipes: 6x 6mm, direct contact base
  • Front Fan Model: AM-120 SLIM V2
  • Front Fan Specs: 15mm, 2500 RPM, 59.6 CFM, 2.7 mmAq, 31.0 dB(A)

The SE-206-XT SLK uses 6 6mm heatpipes that lead to a direct contact base to move heat. The front has a 15mm thick AM-120 SLIM V2 fan that can reach 2500 RPM. This fan can do 59.6 CFM airflow.

The rear spot gets a normal thickness XF-125 fan. It too can get 2500 RPM to provide 75.17 CFM airflow. Both fans use HDB for stability at full speed.

The front fan can reach 31.0 dB(A) maximum noise when moving air. The rear fan has a slightly higher max noise with 35.89 dB(A) when it's pushing. These specs give a good balance of cooling efficiency and noise for typical desktop tasks.
