HoYoverse confirmed a special program for Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.3 on May 22. The update carries the title The Lethe Below the Living and concludes the Planarcadia story arc.

The patch introduces Mortenax Blade, a five-star Fire Nihility character who serves as an alternate form of the original Blade. This new iteration shifts to a Zone-based playstyle that deploys field buffs and DEF shred debuffs. Mortenax Blade also features an Infinite Fury ultimate ability that scales off Max HP.
HoYoverse will broadcast the Version 4.3 Special Program on May 22 at 19:30 UTC+8, which corresponds to 3:30 am PT and 6:30 am ET. The developer plans to distribute three redemption codes during the stream for a total of 300 Stellar Jade. Each code expires within 24 hours after going live.
The official release date for Version 4.3 remains unconfirmed, but HoYoverse expects it to launch on May 31 in North America and June 1 in Europe and Asia. Players can prepare by using the HoYoPlay launcher to pre-load the update before its arrival.
