Buyers looking for compact AM5 builds have a new option that fits smaller cases without sacrificing modern connectivity. released the standard edition of its B850M AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE-P motherboard, expanding access to this white-themed platform after a limited run earlier this year. The move gives Japanese consumers a reliable path to upgrade their systems with current memory and storage standards.

The new board targets users who need MicroATX form factors for smaller desktop enclosures or custom water-cooling loops. It centers around the AMD B850 chipset, which supports processors on the AM5 socket. The design keeps the white aesthetic from the November 2025 limited edition but removes the bundled promotional mousepad to lower the final price.

The motherboard supports DDR5 memory operating at speeds up to 8200 MHz, accommodating up to 256 GB of RAM across its four DIMM slots. Storage options feature a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot that handles fast NVMe drives directly from the CPU. The board also integrates Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for modern wireless networking without requiring separate expansion cards.

This standard edition launch comes after a limited-edition version was introduced in November 2025, which included a promotional mousepad. We covered China’s Gloway and KingBank Announce DDR5 on a related angle earlier this month, highlighting the memory ecosystem that complements these new boards.

GIGABYTE lists the B850M AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE-P at around 36,000 JPY (around $223) including tax. Sales begin July 1, 2026, in Japan only. The standard edition maintains the same core features as the limited run while offering a straightforward purchase path for builders.

The new model features Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, and PCIe 5.0 M.2 storage alongside the high-speed DDR5 capabilities. This release gives Japanese buyers a confirmed option to build small form factor systems with current standards.
