FRONTIER has released the FRT300P, a new 2-in-1 tablet that uses a semi-solid-state battery. The battery technology aims to extend the operational lifespan of the device while enhancing overall safety over conventional lithium-ion alternatives.

New device uses gel electrolyte lithium-polymer battery for extended safety and lifespan.
The device runs Windows 11 Pro on an Intel N150 quad-core processor from the Twin Lake family. It pairs this chip with 8GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128GB of eMMC storage for basic computing tasks.
FRONTIER equips the tablet with a gel electrolyte lithium-polymer battery rated at 7.7V and 3650mAh. With a total energy capacity of 28.1Wh, the battery is designed to support extended usage periods between charges.
The display measures 10.1 inches and delivers a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels on an IPS LCD panel. It runs at a standard 60Hz refresh rate and includes a touchscreen for direct user input.
FRONTIER prices the FRT300P at 59,800 yen including tax in Japan. This sets the cost at approximately 2,531 RMB when converted to Chinese currency.
The company markets the tablet as an industry-first device featuring semi-solid-state battery technology. The introduction of this battery technology reflects an industry trend toward prioritizing safety in mobile device power sources.
