FlexiSpot MA8 Monitor Arm Supports 17-49 Inch Displays

FlexiSpot Japan launched pre-order sales for its new MA8 series monitor arms on the Makuake crowdfunding platform on May 11, 2021. The company introduced a versatile mounting solution designed to accommodate a wide range of display sizes and user preferences. This release marks the company's entry into the adjustable monitor arm market with a focus on modularity and space efficiency.

Users can convert single setup to dual monitor with optional slider accessory

The MA8 series supports monitors ranging from 17 to 49 inches with a weight capacity of 2 to 20 kg. Users can choose between black and white color options for the arm structure. The design allows for extensive adjustability including up and down movement, left and right shifting, depth adjustment, rotation, tilt, and portrait to landscape switching. The product line includes a single-arm version called the MA8 and a dual-arm version known as the MA8D.

The MA8 single-arm unit offers a unique upgrade path for users who later require a second monitor. Owners can convert the single setup into a dual-monitor configuration by purchasing the optional MA-EB1 slider accessory. This feature allows users to start with a minimal desk footprint and expand their setup as their needs change without replacing the entire mount.

Early bird pricing for the monitor arm starts at 9,916 JPY, which is approximately $63.30. This promotional rate reflects a 33 percent discount for early supporters on the crowdfunding platform. FlexiSpot scheduled shipping for the end of September 2021, allowing customers to receive their orders within a few months of the initial pre-order launch.

FlexiSpot has not confirmed the launch window for markets outside of Japan. The company currently limits the availability of the MA8 series to the Japanese market through the Makuake platform. Details regarding global distribution or pricing in other regions remain unconfirmed by the vendor.
