EVNIA Launches Three New Gaming Monitors in Japan With Up to 260Hz Refresh Rates

EVNIA, the gaming brand under Philips, has introduced three new monitors aimed at Japanese gamers who need fast refresh rates and quick response times. The lineup covers different panel technologies to suit various competitive preferences.

New EVNIA monitors include a QD-OLED model with 240Hz refresh rate and two Fast IPS panels reaching 260Hz for competitive gaming.

The models include a 27-inch QD-OLED display labeled as the 27M2N6501L/11, which runs at 240Hz with a 0.03ms response time and WQHD resolution. The second option is the 27M2N3501PA/11, featuring a Fast IPS panel that reaches 260Hz refresh rate and also offers WQHD resolution alongside a 1ms response time.

The third model shifts to a smaller form factor with the 24-inch Full HD display known as the 24M2N3201P/11. This unit utilizes a Fast IPS panel and matches the high refresh rate of its larger sibling at 260Hz.

Each model features FreeSync Premium for variable refresh rate synchronization and incorporates Smart Sniper technology to amplify in-game audio signals. EVNIA markets these displays as performance aids for competitive gaming, emphasizing reduced input latency and sharper image definition.

The release is restricted to the Japanese market, limiting availability outside of that region for now. No pricing details have been provided at this time.
