Conversation support accuracy in noisy environments
The display appears approximately 13 inches in size at a distance of 70 cm. In conversation support mode, it can show up to 28 characters across three lines. The glasses also offer live translation and a script display feature for speeches. The Even Hub app platform provides access to various applications. The microphone has directionality, focusing on the person the user is facing.
The Even G2 is priced at 99,800 JPY (about $637) in Japan. The glasses come in two frame shapes and three colors, for a total of six variants.
According to a user's experience, the conversation support feature achieves about 70-80% accuracy in noisy environments. The user described themselves as socially awkward and found the glasses helpful for communication. Even Realities has not confirmed the accuracy figure as it is based on subjective experience.
The Even G2 aims to assist users in social situations by providing real-time text support. The vendor has not announced availability details beyond the Japan pricing.
