Dospara Select Launches PG5 PCIe 5.0 SSD with 14,000 MB/s Read Speed

Dospara has launched the PG5 series of PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs, the PG4S series as a successor to the PG4, and a DDR5-5600 16GB SO-DIMM memory module. The products are available in Japan starting May 14, 2026.

PG5 series delivers PCIe 5.0 speeds

The PG5 series offers sequential read speeds up to 14,000 MB/s. The 2TB model (PG5-020TA1-MC) reaches sequential writes up to 13,000 MB/s, while the 1TB model (PG5-010TA1-MC) reaches up to 10,000 MB/s. Write endurance is rated at 1,480 TBW for the 2TB version and 740 TBW for the 1TB version. Both drives measure 22mm x 80mm x 3.2mm and come with a 5-year warranty.

The PG4S series improves speed and lowers power consumption over its predecessor. Sequential read speeds reach up to 6,000 MB/s for the 2TB and 1TB models, and up to 5,000 MB/s for the 500GB model. Sequential write speeds are up to 5,000 MB/s (2TB), 4,000 MB/s (1TB), and 3,000 MB/s (500GB). Write endurance is 640 TBW for the 2TB version, 320 TBW for the 1TB, and 160 TBW for the 500GB. The PG4S drives share the same 22mm x 80mm x 3.2mm form factor and 5-year warranty. The D5N5600-16G1A is a 16GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM memory module.

Pricing in Japan is as follows: PG5-020TA1-MC at 71,980 JPY (about $457), PG5-010TA1-MC at 40,980 JPY (about $260), PG4S-020TA1 at 59,980 JPY (about $381), PG4S-010TA1 at 32,980 JPY (about $209), PG4S-500GA1 at 18,980 JPY (about $120), and D5N5600-16G1A at 38,980 JPY (about $247).

Dospara has not announced availability outside Japan.
