Digimon Alysion Announced as Free-to-Play Mobile Card Game for 2026

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Digimon Alysion, a free-to-play mobile card game based on the physical Digimon Card Game. The game is set to launch on iOS and Android in 2026.

Original cards and animated Digivolution sequences

Digimon Alysion includes original cards called DigiAly, new Digimon, and animated Digivolution sequences. It features a story mode set in the Digimon Liberator universe with protagonist Kanata Hondo. The game also incorporates Tamagotchi-style Digimon raising mechanics.

A closed beta test was held in August 2025 with 10,000 participants. A tie-in physical starter deck, Rubeusdramon/Yukinamon, is scheduled to arrive in December 2026.

Digimon Alysion enters the mobile card game market as a competitor to titles like Pokemon TCG Pocket. The game aims to bridge the physical and digital card game experiences for Digimon fans.

Bandai Namco has not confirmed the exact launch date beyond the 2026 window. The game's official website and social media channels provide further details.
