Cooler Master released the MasterLiquid G240 V2 Performance Edition all-in-one liquid cooler in China on June 11. The new model ships with a magnetic top cover kit that supports an optional VRM fan version for improved cooling efficiency. Cooler Master priced the unit at 549 CNY (about $80.91) on JD.com.

The new model ships with a magnetic top cover kit that supports an optional VRM fan version for improved cooling efficiency.
The G240 V2 Performance Edition uses an ultra-thin pump design and EPDM material tubes to manage heat transfer from the CPU block. The cooler supports Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200, 1151, 1155, and 1156 sockets, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 platforms.
Specifications
- Radiator Thickness: 29mm Aluminum
- Pump Design: Ultra-thin pump
- Tube Material: EPDM material
- CPU Socket Compatibility (Intel): LGA 1851/1700/1200/1151/1155/1156
- CPU Socket Compatibility (AMD): AM4/AM5
The system mounts a 29mm thick aluminum radiator paired with two MOBIUS 120P fans. Each fan measures 120 x 120 x 25 mm and reaches a maximum speed of 2400 RPM plus or minus 10 percent. The fans deliver an airflow of 75.2 CFM (127.8 cubic meters per hour) while keeping noise levels below 30 decibels.
The magnetic top cover kit includes a standard version and a VRM fan version that measures 85 x 78.5 x 25.5 mm. The optional VRM fan spins up to 4000 RPM plus or minus 10 percent, providing 9.3 CFM of airflow and 2.8mm H2O of static pressure.
The product builds upon previous G240 iterations to refine the foundational architecture of the series. The new performance edition adds targeted VRM cooling capabilities to the existing chassis architecture.
