Clockwork Revolution Locks 2027 Launch Window as Xbox Console Exclusive

inXile Entertainment has locked in a 2027 launch window for Clockwork Revolution. The time-travel RPG will be an Xbox console exclusive, also hitting PC via Steam and the Xbox store. It will support Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere.

Steampunk city of Avalon and time travel mechanics detailed

The game is set in the steampunk city of Avalon, which features contrasting districts like the Tangle and Burning House. Players control Morgan Vanette, a customizable rogue thief. She is accompanied by a flying automaton companion named Prentice, described by inXile as 'part observer, part companion'.

Time travel is central to the gameplay, allowing players to rewrite key moments. This unlocks abilities such as Displace. Morgan belongs to the Rotten Row Hooligans gang, and choices have butterfly effects on allies and the world.

The antagonist is Lady Ironwood, who uses time travel to maintain her power. The game was showcased at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026.

Clockwork Revolution is scheduled for a worldwide release in 2027. No pricing details have been announced.
