ASUS Launches Its First UGen 300 USB AI Accelerator

has launched its first AI USB device, the UGen 300 AI accelerator. The device is designed to bring AI processing capabilities to a wide range of systems without requiring a dedicated GPU.

The UGen 300 is powered by a Hailo-10H AI processor that delivers 40 TOPS of performance. It includes 8GB of dedicated LPDDR4 memory and connects via a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C interface. The device consumes only 2.5W under typical workloads. It supports , , and Android operating systems, as well as AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX. ASUS also provides UGen Utility software with over 100 pre-trained models.
