The monitor includes DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification and reaches a peak brightness of 1000nits at a 3% aperture photometric light area. AOC states that the static contrast ratio stands at 1500000:1. The panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 98% of the Adobe RGB spectrum.

AOC equipped the U27G4D with fifth-generation anti-reflection technology to reduce ambient light reflection by 40%. The company also integrated graphene cooling to mitigate burn-in risks. The display supports hardware low blue light protection for extended viewing sessions.
The monitor is available in China at two price points. AOC lists the standard retail price at 3799 CNY (about $558). Discounted pricing brings the cost down to 3499 CNY (about $514) when using specific vouchers or promotions.

AOC has not announced international release plans for this model. The current availability is limited to the Chinese market.
