Anbernic has released a software update for its RG Vita Pro handheld gaming device. The Linux V1.0.1 patch adds new visual customization options and improves system navigation menus.
New firmware introduces visual themes and system navigation improvements for the handheld console.
The update modifies the default interface by introducing two new themes called Aurora and Vita. These themes replace the standard look of the operating system on the handheld console.
System Settings now include a Screen Timeout menu that lets users adjust display sleep timing. A shutdown icon also appears directly in the main settings layout for easier power management.
App Manager and button test menus received redesigned layouts to improve usability during gameplay. The update allows preinstalled emulators for Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, and Nintendo 3DS to show their respective game menus while running.
