AMD launched its Ryzen 9000HX series processors at the AMD JD E-sports Carnival in Beijing. The event highlighted new gaming laptops and desktops built around the Zen 5 architecture. Attendees saw demonstrations of the chips paired with second-generation 3D V-Cache technology.

The lineup features configurations up to 16 cores and 32 threads. X3D models include a combined L2 and L3 cache pool reaching 144MB. AMD claims these processors deliver over 1000 FPS in Valorant for the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D and Ryzen 7 9800X3D variants.

The company promoted high frame rates and stable low frames to reduce stuttering during gameplay. JD.com offered promotional deals on specific Ryzen 9000 laptop models during its 618 shopping festival. Buyers received Valorant points as part of the campaign incentives.
AMD plans to continue the event series in Changsha and Chengdu. The vendor has not confirmed exact launch windows for these future stops.
