Dell has introduced two new Alienware monitors that bring VA panel technology to a more accessible price point. The AW3226DM and AW3426DM offer high refresh rates and curved designs without the premium cost of QD-OLED.

Both monitors share identical core specs
Both monitors target gamers who want smooth motion and immersive curvature. The AW3426DM features a 34-inch ultrawide panel with 3440×1440 resolution, while the AW3226DM uses a 27-inch panel with 2560×1660 resolution. The only difference between the two is size and resolution.
Spec comparison
| Spec | AW3226DM | AW3426DM |
|---|---|---|
| Panel Type | VA | VA |
| Resolution | 2560 x 1660 | 3440 x 1440 |
| Refresh Rate | 240 Hz | 240 Hz |
| Curvature | 1500R | 1500R |
| Price | $299.99 | $399.99 |
Key specs are identical across both models: 1500R curvature, 240Hz refresh rate, 450 nits peak brightness, 1ms GtG response time, and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut. They also support AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA AdaptiveSync for tear-free gaming.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, one USB-C port with 15W charging, one USB-B upstream port, and one USB-A downstream port. The USB-C port does not support video output. An anti-glare coating is standard on both monitors.
Pricing starts at $299.99 for the AW3226DM and $399.99 for the AW3426DM. Both models will be available in the US in July 2026.
These monitors sit below Alienware's QD-OLED lineup, offering a more budget-friendly curved option with strong gaming specs. The VA panels deliver deep blacks and good contrast, though they lack the per-pixel lighting of OLED.
The AW3226DM and AW3426DM deliver high-refresh-rate curved gaming at competitive prices. With VA panels, adaptive sync, and a July launch, they give gamers a solid alternative to pricier OLED displays.
