MSI previews special edition motherboards with dragon armor and starry sky design for Intel and AMD platforms.
The new product lineup features the MEG Z890 ACE Draco Epic motherboard designed for Intel Core Ultra 200S processors alongside the MEG X870E ACE Draco Epic board built for AMD Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. Each motherboard supports DDR5 memory modules reaching speeds of up to 8400 MT/s for Intel configurations and 8600 MT/s for AMD setups.
Power delivery is managed by a 20+1+2 phase configuration with each stage capable of handling 90A to ensure stable operation under heavy loads. Memory expansion is handled by four DIMM slots capable of accommodating up to 192GB, complemented by integrated dual 10Gb Ethernet connectivity.
Expansion options consist of three PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, where the primary slot operates at full x16 bandwidth and the remaining two function at x8 speeds. Wireless connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, alongside a USB4 interface supporting data transfers at up to 40Gbps. The system relies on an integrated I/O shield that incorporates dedicated cooling fins to assist in thermal regulation.
MSI also plans to release the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic gaming laptop featuring a similar theme design. While the gaming laptop is scheduled for release in select markets later this year, MSI has yet to announce precise pricing or launch windows.
