Microsoft is expanding Microsoft 365 Copilot Notebooks with new content types and reference sources, giving users more ways to organize information from daily work tools.

Teams meetings, web URLs, and Outlook emails can now be added as references in notebooks.
The update adds Teams meeting transcripts, notes, chats, and shared files as references. Web page URLs can now be be added directly into notebooks. Outlook email thread support is coming to the Frontier program in the coming days.
Notebooks can generate Excel spreadsheets and infographics from user prompts or uploaded materials. The OneNote mobile app on iPhone lets users record live audio, capture whiteboard photos, and type notes in a single session. Copilot converts those inputs into structured notebook pages for questions or presentations.
The Microsoft 365 Copilot app now shows chats, creations, and references together in one place. The updated left navigation bar brings 'Create' and 'Add Reference' closer to the top inside OneNote.
Microsoft is rolling out these updates this month to Frontier program users. Outlook email support will arrive in the coming days as part of the same rollout.
