HP Dell RTX 50 Laptops See Explosion Alienware Sub-10k Yuan

HP and Dell have expanded their gaming laptop lineups with multiple models featuring NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series graphics processors. The updates span entry-level to high-end configurations, targeting different segments of the market.

The Alienware 15 China edition marks a notable shift in pricing strategy for the brand. It enters the sub-¥10,000 bracket for the first time, starting at ¥8499 when using an exclusive coupon.

Hardware specifications vary across the new releases to match their respective price points and performance tiers. The Alienware 15 pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB storage drive.

The display on the Alienware 15 measures 15.3 inches with a resolution of 1920×1200 and a 165Hz refresh rate. Dell’s G16 2026 model takes a different approach, utilizing an Intel Core i7-14650HX processor alongside optional RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 graphics.

HP’s Omen series receives significant upgrades across its lineup as well. The Omen 15 features an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor and an RTX 5070 GPU, with memory configurations reaching up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB PCIe Gen5 SSD.

The top-tier HP Omen Max 16 pushes performance further by offering RTX 5090, 5080, or 5070 Ti graphics options. It also supports a premium 2.5K resolution OLED display running at up to 240Hz.

Performance claims for the RTX 50 series indicate native rasterization improvements over the previous generation. The RTX 5060 offers approximately 25% to 35% uplift, while the RTX 5070 provides an 18% to 25% improvement in raw rendering power.

NVIDIA highlights DLSS 4.5 as a key generational advantage for the new hardware. The technology delivers up to 6x frame generation capability, which is positioned as the primary benefit over previous RTX models.

These updates represent a broad refresh of gaming laptops from both manufacturers, integrating newer GPU architectures and updated processors into existing chassis designs.
