Samsung announced the Odyssey G8 G80HS monitor on April 27, 2024. The display features a 32-inch IPS panel with a dual-mode switching capability. Users can select between a 6K resolution at 165Hz or a 3K resolution at 330Hz. This configuration allows the monitor to adapt to different performance requirements.

The monitor delivers a gray-to-gray response time of 1ms. It supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync technologies to prevent screen tearing. The maximum brightness reaches 350cd/m². The device includes a built-in USB hub and two HDMI ports alongside one DisplayPort.
The stand provides ergonomic adjustments and supports rotation and flip functions. Samsung confirmed the monitor does not include built-in speakers or a camera. The company claims the panel prevents screen tearing through its sync technology support.
