ASUS Japan announced three new Chromebook models on May 22, 2024. The lineup includes the CM32 Detachable (CM3206), CM14 (CM1405), and CM15 (CM1505). All devices run ChromeOS and feature MIL-STD-810H durability compliance.

The laptops use MediaTek Kompanio 540 processors with LPDDR5X-6400 RAM in 4GB or 8GB configurations. Storage options include eMMC drives at 64GB or 128GB capacities. The CM32 Detachable offers a 12.1-inch WQXGA touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The CM14 and CM15 models provide 14-inch and 15.6-inch Full HD displays respectively.

Pricing in Japan ranges from ¥64,800 to ¥99,800 depending on the model and configuration. Sales begin on May 22 for some configurations, with other variants arriving June 3 or mid-June 2024. Battery life claims vary between approximately 12.6 hours and 16.2 hours based on display type.
All three models support Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 6E alongside Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. They include USB-C ports and HDMI outputs for peripheral connections.
ASUS has not confirmed exact release dates for all CM14 and CM15 configurations beyond the mid-June timeframe.
